ONGOING EXPRESSIONS OF

A quote from Marianne about her work.
The creative way I work with the anatomy of body/mind has arrived through a synthesis drawn from many different approaches.  Its starting point is from the felt-sense of a need to follow the body's desire to move and thus allow its own natural movement as a way of healing and retrieving and reclaiming the forgotten, hidden neglected parts.  Often what shows up is our creative fire, or our watery flow, our pleasure or in the words of the poet Mary Oliver a calling back to our "one wild and passionate life"    My intention is to create a safe and protective space where we can feel more ease and space in our bodies, breathe a little deeper and connect to our primordial life force re-connecting to our true and wild and nourishing nature.

Systemic Constellations : As we arrive in a Heart Circle, and as a result of the Systemic Constellation work , there is often a feeling of inclusivity, interconnection as a result of having stood in and represented each other's father, mother, brother and sister or being in the place of integral witness.

 and one from Charlie

' I and many others have found that Constellations can be used not only to see the effects and possible resolution of hidden family dynamics but also to explore issues such as the systemic causes of illness, the blockages in business development, your relationship to money or those people with whom you struggle. There are many applications of this most powerful method. This way of working combined with group and individual process work creates new possibilites in the neurobiological circuits and therefore our daily lives and the wider field of life.

We realise the power of working in a circle. The holding quality of the group the possible explorations that can happen in the safety created by being together in this way There are several forms of circle that we use.

 Moving circle

 Sitting and talking/listening circle

Singing circle

Circle of systemic constellations

Silent circle

Resting circle

Offering circle

The moving circle

We gather, we move, we welcome the body in a friendly way abiding in body heart and soul.... with an intention of cultivating a conscious and embodied container ( circle) engaging the sacred feminine (flow) and masculine (form) a creative imaginal space is created through circles of practice and connection. For example, we begin by ‘coming home’ to ourselves (relationship to self) landing and resourcing ourselves through embodied awareness practices i.e. restorative yoga, breath inquiry, movement meditation (somatic movement explorations ) to help ground in the body to have a more solid sense of self

Sitting and talking/listening circle

After we have arrived and collected ourselves through movement awareness practices we gather in a circle in a spacious way to listen to what needs to be spoken, this is only when someone is moved to speak in this way there is a deep listening from the others in the group. We also use triads in a form of  deep enquiry, that is speaker , listener and witness.

Singing circle

We use sound in an embodied way sometimes connecting with Bija (seed) Mantras or other sacred sounds or our songs. Singing opens different parts of our nervous system and helps to bring ease.

Circle of systemic constellations

Constellations are a powerful and astonishing way of looking at the entanglements  and suffering often transgenerational that can hold us from living fully and contentedly. When we enter a constellation we enter a knowing field that shows us the underlying dynamics in system be it a family, your current relationships your own body, or an organisation of any kind be it in business, education, or health care.

Silent circle

Sometimes we just sit quietly to see what arises when we stop, certain parts of ourselves that reveal themselves only when we are quiet emerge. We may use some structured meditations or just ‘doing nothing’.

Resting Circle,

Deep rest is so important for the revival of the body and the easing of the mind. We use this practice to allow settling and restoration.

Offering circle
This one is where any participant is given a chance to offer something for the group be it a poem, story, song or something else that can be offered as a gift to the group. We hold this each weekend.
